Niko is in need for a blood transfusion

This is our sweet baby boy Niko he is only one, about to be two in March. Niko has brought us more joy and love then we ever knew was possible. He is a very happy upbeat pup who love humans and other dogs, Niko is just an all around great dog. Niko had recently come down with a medical condition from a tick borne infection, they tell us he has IMTP. IMTP is Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia (IMTP) is a condition where the body's immune system, which normally fights infection, starts to damage and destroy platelets. Platelets are cells required to clot blood and prevent bleeding. If enough platelets are destroyed then spontaneous bleeding can occur. His hematicrit level is dropping every few days. The next step of treatment for Niko is a blood transfusion. Blood transfusion can run very expensive and with your help Niko can get all the help he needs.
