Nikki’s Legacy: Honoring her love of life

Donation protected
Our beloved Nikki, who has brightened so many lives with her endless compassion, laughter, love, and friendship, has sadly left this world. Those who had the privilege of knowing her experienced all the love and kindness she had to offer. Her absence has left a void in the hearts of all those who cared for her. In the short time she was with us, Nikki touched the lives of all who truly knew her. Nikki was and will always be our dearest friend, a beloved sister, and a lovely daughter for some of us.

Nikki has taught us many lessons in this life; her resilience and willpower were remarkable, and her determination and perseverance were unbreakable! Nikki was wise beyond her years and passionate about knowledge without boundaries. She had an open and brilliant mind that thrived on her curiosity about the world. She was enthralled with subjects involving literacy, psychology, philosophy, history, and sociology. Nikki loved to write. Her imagination, creativity, and life experiences made her an excellent writer. Nikki had a deep love for the world. She respected the environment and all types of animals; she contributed her time volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center, assisting varied species of disabled and lost cubs.

Throughout the pandemic, Nikki was part of the Griffin Hospital COVID mobile vaccine team, which provided lifesaving vaccines to people throughout Connecticut while offering comfort to those in need. Nikki was selfless and prioritized others above herself, which is a testament to the thousands of lives she saved.

This GoFundMe campaign was created to help raise funds to host a service to honor her life. Her sweet soul wished for an eternal existence by becoming one with the roots of trees. This was also her way of giving back to the planet. We need help to make her wishes a reality by planting a tree in her memory and achieving her goal of giving back to nature. Any donation to meet Nikki's last wishes would be much appreciated.

UPDATE: I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who donated to “Nikki’s Legacy: Honoring her love of life” GoFundMe page. Your generous contributions have made it possible for us to plant a tree in her memory. It is a beautiful symbol of the love and joy she brought into our lives. Thank you for your kindness and support during this time. Together, we are keeping Nikki’s spirit and memory alive
