Nicolas Quintana and his Family

The unimaginable has happened: Nico Quintana passed away unexpectedly and reunited with his mother, Gloria, Thursday evening, September 15th.

He was a husband to Megan, father to Luca, son to Enrique, brother to Eric and Dani, coach and teacher at Pinecrest, & family and friend to so many.

Nico’s love for his wife, Megan, was unwavering. He adored Megan from the moment they met, and despite the distance between them in the beginning, he wrote love letters to her regularly. Their connection grew into a beautiful marriage and parenthood as they welcomed their beautiful son Luca into the world on September 6th 2020.

Nico was a man of many passions, but none greater than being an educator and coach. He positively impacted so many students at Pinecrest Academy through his efforts in the classroom, on the field, and during summer camps.

The unexpected passing of Nico has been devastating to those who loved him. Nico was a kind, compassionate soul who touched so many. We want to take as much of the financial stress and burden off Megan as she learns to navigate life without her beloved Nico. All donations will go to the Quintana family to offset the financial burden of Nico’s funeral and memorial.

Arrangements have not been finalized, but we will share the information when it becomes available. As the family grieves this immense loss, please respect their privacy as they may not be ready to talk. They are very grateful for your thoughts, prayers and support.
