In September 2023, my long time colleague and friend Chris Rigg was diagnosed with GMB, a rare & aggressive type of brain cancer. Chris dealt with this devastating news with his typical determination and positive attitude, including exploring what treatments might be available outside of the NHS. This search led him to discover a life-enhancing treatment only available in Germany, however it came at considerable cost.

Thanks to Chris's own resilience and incredible support he has already raised considerable funds that are making a real difference to his quality of life, offering him precious time with his family.

Our aim is to continue to do what we can for Chris so he's able to continue with this course of treatment. As a result, a number of us are taking on the London-Brighton Bike Ride. Early on Sunday 15th June our team will set off from Clapham Common, arriving at Brighton Beachfront, 54 miles and several hours later!
