Hello, my name is Tamika Joy from Maryland. I am raising money for my cousin Pebbles Spearman-Drummond.

Pebbles finally found her true love and this year, moved from the US to marry and become one with her new husband Mitchell, who's born and raised in Jamaica.

Mitchell and Pebbles Drummond were married on August 2, 2025. They are now facing an unimaginable hardship. While still settling into their new life together, Hurricane Melissa struck their village in Chapelton, Jamaica, leaving behind devastating destruction and loss.

The storm snatched the roof off their home, destroying most of their belongings and leaving the couple without basic necessities. Their village suffered severe damage as well — farms of fruit, herbs, and vegetables were wiped out, along with the loss of livestock, supplies, and essential community resources. Many families, including Mitchell and Pebbles, are now struggling to rebuild from almost nothing.

While trying to fix the place up after the hurricane, Pebbles fell from a mudslide and fractured her foot, so she is now on bed rest and looking at possible surgery (recommendation from Dr.), which can be another cost in itself.

Mitchell and Pebbles are loved members of their community as they are always giving back and helping others, hardworking, humble, and faith-filled. They now need urgent help. Any donation of funds, clothing, household supplies, building materials, or food will make a real difference as they work to rebuild their home, restore their land, and regain stability after this tragedy.
