After a car accident Nevaeh's health changed. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. After 6 months she still struggles daily to get her blood sugar in balance with sudden highs and lows that she does not recognize with the way she feels. A Dexcom CGM is a Continuous Glucose Monitor that will read her blood sugar every 5 minutes so she and her care-givers will know when and how much insulin adjustment she needs to proactively manage her diabetes.
