Neeraj's & Vijay's Dreams: Boston Marathon 2023

Neeraj and Vijay come from humble backgrounds and only started realizing their running potential in the past five years. Neeraj works as a chauffeur, and Vijay as a security guard. They both joined a local running group (Lutyens Road Runners) in New Delhi in 2018 and quickly honed their raw talent. Vijay comes from a village in Himachal Pradesh where his family lives. He wakes up every day at 4 am to run before working a daily twelve-hour shift. Neeraj started working full-time at age 12, selling newspapers to support his family, and took to running to feel better physically. The funds will enable both to travel to the United States for one week to run the Boston Marathon in April 2023. The funds will cover their travel expenses, including airplane tickets, hotel, food, entry fees, insurance, and local transportation. Both Vijay and Neeraj inspire their fellow runners with their dedication and inspirational running stories.
