Skyler's Fight

Hello Everyone,

For those of you that know the Rivera Family we know that they are going through a very difficult time right now. BUT for those of you that don't know let me tell you a little bit about what they are going through. Their only child, Skyler Rivera, who just turned 6 years old has been fighting for his life this past year and half. As of March 2020 this sweet boy was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. To help you visualize, at point of diagnosis they found a tumor that was bigger than a softball, which was located within his abdominal area; furthermore, the cancer had spread to other areas of his body, such as his chest area as well as his bones. This form of cancer will require him to undergo intense treatments for a total of 18 months; these treatments include chemotherapy, radiation, and even surgery.

On August 4th, 2021 his family has been given the news that no parent wants to hear. Skyler has completed one of the highest and strongest chemo treatments and doctors have learned that the his cancer has now spread aggressively through Sky's organs and there is no turning back. Sklyer has been tirelessly fighting and pushing through his treatments with the top Neuroblastoma oncologist and hospitals. The cruel reality is that his prognosis is real and beyond devastating for the entire Rivera family. At this point Sky has been sent home with a treatment plan to help manage his pain that will help him make the remainder of his life more comfortable. He is now home where he can be in his own space, in his bed, and be surrounded by the people that love him and that he loves most.

On behave of Skyler's parents, we are hoping to raise money to assist them in numerous medical bills, basic needs for Sky to live more comfortably, food, as well upcoming expenses. Alex and Temo have always been most loving and generous people. Sklyer is their dream come true after dreaming about becoming parents for 15 years. They have never failed to fight for others and to be there for others who are in need. Please let us all come together now and help them in their time of need.
