Hi, my name is Nay Mendl. I’m a trans filmmaker from the favelas of São Paulo, Brazil, and I’m one step away from achieving my biggest dream: graduating from one of the best film schools in the world. But to make that happen, I need support.

I’m in my final semester, and without financial support, I won’t be able to complete my thesis and graduate. My work has already been recognized in international film festivals and human rights showcases, sharing stories that amplify LGBTQIA+ voices and fight for human rights.

As someone who comes from the margins, I know how important it is to tell stories that reflect resilience, resistance, and the power of community. With your support, I can graduate and continue creating films that inspire and make a difference in the world.
