Last year, Natalie was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer located near her pancreas. She has been through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. While her cancer treatment had been progressing well, she recently experienced complications requiring specialized care and was medevaced to Seattle for treatment. Natalie is back home in Anchorage now, but the travel and other medical costs are beyond her savings. Thank you for any help you can provide.
September 2020 Update: If you’ve seen Natalie’s recent update, you know that her old cancer is back. This is not good news, as the cancer is aggressive. There is considerable pain associated with the tumor, although Natalie says it is bearable for the time being. She is in good spirits, but she really needs our help now more than ever. Her medical costs after insurance and medicare are in the thousands of dollars, and she still has not gotten the bills for her stay in Seattle or her upcoming chemotherapy sessions. In addition to the enormous medical costs, she’d also like to visit her family and friends in France during the spring of 2021 to say farewell. This trip to France might be the one and only occasion for Natalie to meet her Russian family, whom she has been looking for her entire life, and found only two years ago. They are ready to come from Moscow to Paris to meet her, knowing that traveling to Russia is not an option for her now. I know that Natalie really appreciates all the help she has been given thus far. Thank you for any little bit you might be able to give.
