Nadine & Adam's story

Hello, My name is Nadine, I'm 38 years old, and a single working mum of my two beautiful boys aged 13 & 8.
I really do appreciate you taking the time to read my story where me and my family have been through a very traumatic and emotional experience regarding the unexpected death of my late husband.
Adam was born on the 3rd May 1983, he was fit and healthy with no underlining health issues, even serving time in the army, he was loved by many and those who knew him personally know he was one of a kind! Making people laugh, he was loving, caring, respectful, funny and would always be there when ever needed, he was, in many eyes, the perfect family man.
On Sunday 23 May 2021 Adam had his first dose of the Moderna Vaccine, approximately 2 weeks after, he complained that he didn’t feel well, feeling fatigue and experienced pains in his legs, back and neck, unfortunately, it was very difficult at this point to get a GP appointment due to COVID and its restrictions.
Adam was pretty strong with illnesses not affecting him often so he went off to work on Tuesday 15 June 2021, what was thought to be a normal working day scaffolding, but he collapsed on site that morning, suffering what we were advised was “A very rare heart attack” due to a large blood clot blocking the main blood flow supply to his heart. Adam was hospitalised for nearly 2 weeks in intensive care until he sadly passed away on Sunday the 27th of June 2021.
It has been a constant battle where a post-mortem was requested by myself, however this was declined by the hospital as it was ‘not necessary’. I had no real explanation provided and no support in this investigation by the hospitals. No one has considered that it may be down to the vaccine.
Since 2021 after an ongoing investigation I have pushed for an inquest to be opened since I vowed to get answers. Another struggle started with me paying for some legal representation, going to multiple PIRH’s (pre inquest remote hearings) which I have even represented myself in some cases. This battle has been going on for the last three years and I now finally have a court date set for 14 October 2024 which is due to last till 30 October 2024. I will have no legal support and no representation after applying for legal aid who declined me, even when this was challenged on the basis that Article 2 was then granted following the last PIRH’s, Legal aid continue to deny me any support, I have gone so far now with a way still left to go, collecting evidence and even obtaining an expert report.
I am feeling slightly overwhelmed with everything but will not give up on Adam, what I ask for, from who ever is reading this, your support in any way shape or form, knowing Adam will be in your thoughts is more than enough but if you or anyone you know is able to aid in any way, I would greatly appreciate any donation that would go towards court fees and representation, alternatively, if you know someone within the law profession able and willing to help me during this battle, I am open to all support.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and could never be forgotten, those who supported me with getting justice for my husband and getting answers for our two boys who are growing up, not knowing what happened to their dad.
I just wanted to finish off by saying on behalf of me and all the family, how much we all love and miss Adam, no words can describe how we all feel, life is just not the same without him, this is something we will never get over and unfortunately this is something we will have to live with for the rest of our lives, there’s not a day that goes by when we’re all not thinking of him, this has truly left a massive hole in our hearts which will never heal.
Thankyou
Nadine
