Myrick's Memorial Fund

Cancer doesn't care.
Cancer doesn't care that you're in your 30's, it doesn't care if you have kids, it doesn't care what your hopes and dreams are or that you want more time.
Today, my brother, Myrick (Rick) Hethington III, died. Rick was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma in 2018, and, after treatment with the Mayo Clinic, we were lucky to say he was in remission. However, this past Thanksgiving, we learned his lymphoma had returned and was already advanced.
Rick fought so very hard, but cancer doesn't care.
My brother leaves behind two young children. Freya Rae (8) who's wicked smart, caring, and always up for a board game...which she'll probably beat you in. Ryan (5) is a little Einstein himself, is obsessed with sharks, and is pretty great at everything...just ask him, he'll tell you how awesome he is.
Many of you have asked if you can do anything, and if you can, we kindly ask you donate to this fund in lieu of flowers. This memorial fund will be for his babies. We plan to use it for birthdays, special occasions, and fun times Rick won't be able to attend to help remind his children how much he loved and adored them.
