On the 7th of September, the Robinson family is taking on the challenge of the Tour de 4. This is a charity cycling event around Glasgow organised by Sir Chris Hoy to raise awareness of those with stage 4 cancer and to raise funds for cancer charities. It is a cause particularly close to our hearts as Sir Chris is a close family friend and indeed is Godfather to Hector and Floraidh. The positivity and fortitude shown by Sir Chris following his own stage 4 cancer diagnosis has been incredible, and we are extremely proud of his attitude and achievements.

The funds raised will be donated to Maggie's. Maggie's is a cancer charity which provides practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer and their family and friends. Maggie's has a network of 24 centres in the UK near NHS cancer facilities, as well as 4 international centres. They provide an invaluable resource and support for those dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
