On Sunday 6th September; Kriss, my dad (Ronnie), and myself are taking part in this year’s Tour De 4. We will be cycling the 56.7mile/91.2KM red route to raise funds and awareness for MacMillan Cancer Support.
In 2025 Ronnie was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a type of skin cancer, and under went surgery and radiation treatment during 2025 and early 2026. From his diagnosis and throughout his treatment MacMillan Cancer support offered support and advice that was valuable during this difficult time.
The three of us are massive cycling fans and supporters and have been touched by Sir Chris Hoys diagnosis and cancer journey. We were sad to miss last year’s event but knew that we couldn’t miss it this time around and have been training hard for the ride.
We would appreciate any support and sponsorship that you could provide and it will make a massive difference to MacMillan Cancer Support and the support they provide to patients and their families throughout such a difficult time.
Tour de 4 2026 is a cycling event launched by Sir Chris Hoy following his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. It brings together people living with Stage 4 cancer, alongside friends, families and supporters, to ride side by side and raise vital funds.
The event is about showing that a diagnosis does not define a person, and highlighting what life with Stage 4 cancer can look like: strength, resilience and determination.
All funds raised will go to charities supporting people affected by Stage 4 cancer. If you’re able to donate or share, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every contribution helps provide vital support and care.
