On 1st Decemember 2025 My Nan lost her fight after being in hospital 2 weeks.
This wasn't exactly expected.. Initially being took in with low bp/temp which thought possible sepsis, but after having CT head, Chest Xray and Bloods, we quickly learn this was not the case all was clear.
Nan had been having a nurse in to dress legs before being admitted and things were looking good before admission.
During my Nans stay they couldn't maintain Bp & treating with furosemide but had to stop that as kept making the bp drop more sadly.. Then my Nan developed Double Pneumonia but still fighting thro everything like a proper warrior .
In the past she had battled thro 2 strokes 9yr ago and 6yr ago . Doctors were giving 3 lots of antibiotics to try and get this dam infection but on Friday 28th November they said nothing was working and stopped active treatment this meant she was palliative care, which obviously we were all devastated & they moved her immediately to Macmillan who were absolutely wonderful in every possible way .
My mum Karen will be the one whom distributes funds accordingly & everything will be put into here for all to see as she is the one whom will be organizing everything going forward.
I am going to be doing a 30mile Run to Skydiver Langar, then doing a sky dive the same day 27th March 2026 ,which would be my Late Nan Jennifer's 78th Birthday. This will enable us to raise as much as possible towards my Nans Memorial/final resting place and give back to the charity Macmillan and will be equally shared between both.
I would be extremely grateful of anyone who can even share this fundraiser
Updates will be posted as i go through training.
Many Thanks Tim
