Hi everyone!

My best friend and dear mother, Patricia Warmack, is battling Stage 4 (metastatic) breast cancer that has spread to her bones and liver. She was diagnosed on August 5th, 2022. Her prognosis is not clear, but on average, she could be looking upwards to two years with treatment. Ultimately, we don't know how much longer we have with her before she's no longer mobile or when she will leave this earth.

Her journey with breast cancer began in September 2020 when she was initially diagnosed with Stage 1A, meaning the tumor was small, invasive, and had not spread to the lymph nodes. It was terrible news, but we were thankful it was caught early. She underwent a mastectomy of her right breast and four rounds of chemotherapy. The surgery and especially the chemotherapy were very hard on her. During this time, she had to give up her job and take her social security early, which was not a lot of money. She did not have a retirement fund or any savings and gave up her home to move in with her brother and sister-in-law.

The fundraiser's purpose is to help her with expenses while she's still with us. She does not have many medical expenses, as most of those are covered by Medicare, but she would like to spend as much as possible with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She wants to explain to each kid that she will leave for Heaven soon and not have to explain it from a hospital bed. *tearing up writing this*
