Hi, my name is Swati Manchanda and I am fundraising for my mother, Mrs. Kanchan Manchanda, who urgently needs a lung transplant to survive.

My mom is 58 years old (born 11 November 1967) and has been fighting severe lung damage for a long time. Over the past few years, her condition has worsened to the point where she struggles to breathe even during simple activities like walking, talking, or climbing a few steps. Seeing her fight for every breath has been the hardest thing our family has ever experienced.

Doctors have now told us that a lung transplant is the only option left to save her life. Without it, her lungs will not be able to support her much longer.

We are trying everything we can as a family, but the cost of a lung transplant in India is extremely high. The total expected cost, including surgery, ICU care, hospital stay, medications, donor-related procedures, and long-term follow-ups, is around:

My family has already spent everything we had over the years on her treatments, oxygen support, tests, and hospital visits. We are emotionally and financially drained, but we are not ready to give up on her. She deserves a chance to live, breathe freely, and be with us for many more years.
