Our best friend Arina, who is there for everyone no matter the time of day, no matter what she has going in her life, recieved one of the worst news a person can wake up to. At 4am this morning her mom woke her up with a phone call, her father, Igor, was coughing up blood.

Her parents had gone to Mexico to finally destress from life, and a week into thier vacation her father, a man who emmigrated from Ukraine for a better life, a life-long athlete, a devoted father and loving husband, had a heart attack. The doctors were able to tell Arina that he may need open heart surgery within 1 or two weeks. She dropped everything, called off of work, and jumped on the first flight there.

At the hospital, finally face-to-face with the doctors, they told her the news:
Her father's heart-attack was worse than they originally thought. He needs an immediate heart transplant. Without it he has 2 days to live.

He's on life-support in a foreigh hospital, surrounded by people he doesn't know, where the level of care is very different than that of the US. The doctors refuse to operate unless she can come up with $150,000 in 2 days time. If not, her father will not survive.

We understand that this is a HUGE ask, but please put yourself in her shoes, being told that a parent who means the world to you will die in 2 days time, we are begging you if there's anything you can give, $1, $10, $100, please consider donating.
