My baby sister & family

Hi! My name is Rachael Bongivonni. My younger sister was hospitalized Monday after losing feeling in her legs and eventually upper body. After a few days of uncertainty, she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder called Guillian-Barre. Between Thursday and Friday she rapidly declined and was unable to breathe on her own. She was placed in a medically induced coma & put on a ventilator. We don’t know much but are hoping for a good outcome. Once she comes out of this, she will require months of physical therapy & rehabilitation. My mom has been taking unpaid leave from work and watching over my sister and my sister’s son. We would all appreciate any help and relief with medical expenses and time away from work.
