The Cycliad
Cycliad is a 1,300 mile, 4 weekend, bicycle challenge aimed at raising funds to support the the patient navigators of the of UAB Cancer Community Network, a network that touches nearly 70,000 cancer patients at 12 cancer centers in five states.

These patient navigators are remarkable people who help support patients after a cancer diagnosis. As part of the cancer care team, they are an incredible help to patients going through their cancer journey. They work with patients to address their needs, empowering them to better participate in their healthcare and find the resources they need.

The navigators are supported by a federal grant that ends in June 2015. This bike ride will raise funds to help support and maintain this program.

I will be riding the home stretch with my 4 year old son (his first ride ever). Please join us in supporting these navigators who devote their days to supporting cancer patients!
