Mutual Aid for Brooklyn Center

Our neighbors in Brooklyn Center are hurting. In this time of rage and grief let us be beloved community who show up to support each other. Your donation supports the immediate community needs of residents in Brooklyn Center.

We are working on the ground in Brooklyn Center to meet the immediate needs of residents: from formula and diapers to laundry detergent, medical supplies, and hot meals.

We are in direct communication with residents at the Brooklyn Center apartments and will be directly distributing money and requested supplies to residents. We will make transparency updates daily to share the impact of your support.

About us: 

Rev. Jenny Sung is a pastor in the ELCA and founder and director of One Dance Company. She is an Interfaith Chaplain and has been on the ground in Brooklyn Center organizing emergency housing and supply needs.

Courtney Castleberry works on the Northside and is in community with  Brooklyn Center folxs through personal and professional connections. She has been on the ground coordinating volunteers and supporting neighbors.
