Music and Freedom: a new musical

Music and Freedom is a new musical by Tim Gilvin and Grace Taylor, adapted from the novel by Zoe Morrison.

Rather than raise money privately for a closed workshop, we are raising money publicly to share our 2nd full draft of the show in a concert presentation in Autumn/Winter 2024. This is an exciting way for us to get the story in front of an audience, and see what works and what doesn't.

We are thrilled with the show so far. It's an unusual musical, full of classical music, with an older female protagonist front and centre, played in our concert by the illustrious Claire Moore. It stands out from a West End full of adaptations of existing IP as an emotional, original story, but this means it needs grass-roots backing, and so we do hope you can help us bring it to life.
