MS Medical Expenses and Van Repair
Donazione protetta
Most of you seeing this know me, those who do not “Hi I am Cristina” . I don’t normally do these things or like the idea of ever asking for a helping hand, but in the case it’s for my dad so I felt this is different. I hope that those of you who see this can help in any way be it prayers, donations, or personally visiting him to see what can be done to aid in a helping hand around the house/property. My dad is one of the closest people to me, for that reason seeing his health decline breaks my heart. He and his wife who you see in the photo both have progressive “MS” or Multiple Sclerosis. His wife who he married back when I was in High School have over the years seen significant changes to their health. When my dad was first diagnosed with MS he on several occasions has had temporary loss of movement, eyesight, and hearing. His wife who is currently wheelchair and bed ridden ( total inability to leave her bed without being lifted into her wheelchair )with MS and several other health problems (I.e kidneys and diabetes on top of the MS), has been dependent on his love and care for the last few years, through this my dad has now worn his body and his MS has gotten progressively worse. He is now in a wheelchair himself while providing care to his wife Lisa, aside from being bed ridden they make multiple trips for their care to Atlanta GA where they see a specialist for these specific health problems. For them this is a little over a 3hr dr. In order to continue their rehabilitation their van needs repairs to make room for both wheelchairs, and my dad will need a special chair to accommodate these changes. These specialists are the closest ones to where he lives and are extremely necessary to maintain and control the MS for as long as possible. Amongst the MS treatment and testing, they both undergo additional testing to aid in the other health issues. These visits to Atlanta are imperative to their health and they both rely on disability which doesn’t aid much in the additional services they need in order to stay somewhat mobile. You do not have to donate if it’s not in your ability but I ask that you send prayers and share. ( or reach out to me on how to contact him directly to see if there are any physical needs that you can visit him and aid in with a helping hand ) Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
