I am a victim of abuse. I’m being sued by Michael Elgin for defamation and violation of privacy for publicly disclosing the names of my abusers. I need your help. I have no funds to use to defend myself. I have been informed that it will cost a minimum of $2,500 to pay for an attorney or else I will be forced to go to court pro se, or self represented.  I am not employed and have no funds while filing for disability. 

A response plea has to be filed with the court by March 15th. Therefore, I will have needed to gain representation, and met with them before that date. 

Beyond my own role in this case, it has been important for the conversations that started as result in the wrestling community, exploring the silencing of victims, that power dynamics of abusers, and the role that fans play in holding their favorites accountable.
