Moonlight Meadows D.G.C. Urgent Well Replacement Fund

ITS COME TO THIS

My name as most of you know is 'Becca' Rebecca Ladue myself and my husband 'Chuck' Charles Musier own Moonlight Meadows D.G.C. in Brooksville Florida. We are non profit, we provide a public service on our 5acre private property/homestead where we a 18hole disc golf course & natural outdoor recreational area exist for the public , additionally this is our home. which has recently been compromised by/due to the aftermath of hurricane Milton resulting in what i am about to elaborate on and why you are seeing this.

For me to sit here right now and have no other choice in these matters and unfortunate circumstances that we have been trying to handle on our own, to create this gofundme is beyond heartbreaking and shatters nearly any hopes we may have had and still for some crazy and weird reason are holding n clinging onto, in our so called federal government. this by far isn't something i ever wanted to do nor particularly n personally like to do or doing, that being me asking for help.

At this point in time here in the beautiful and awesome moonlight meadows DGC, I myself have no choice but to not just ask, but BEG for all and any help, cares, considerations, donations, resources or alternatives that i can possibly think of that would and will help us until Congress & Webster along with Florida senator Gus Bilirakis and my appointed case manager that are so diligently working with me as i continue to fight with FEMA for the disaster assistance relief they said they would help us with actually and again hopefully comes through to fruition. After FEMA asking me to send them all the documentation to prove and back up my claims from MILTON & the calamity that occurred. upon their requests from my correspondence and claims i had done so. which resulted in them having a FEMA inspector come out and asses but was not a professional in the well dept, so they then provided me with the funds to have the proper well professionals to come out and assess and confirm what all has indeed and factually taken place. We have since been left to deal with it on our own from that point. I have done all that one can do in my position, I have resorted to all and any related places, organizations, agencies an every alternative resources that are or were available, related to or in the wheelhouse of what we are facing, enduring & now left to deal with at that and this time.. We have spent so much of our own funds time, determination and energy in trying to do what we can to replace existing parts above ground to our well in hopes and last ditch efforts on our part, that something would in return give us just any small amounts of water, but to our perilous plight & demise its unfortunately not been any attempt that have been worth the hole that's been left in our pride, pockets and hearts and we are drained completely dry, literally!!! i don't like putting our personal business out for the world to see and know and i never like to be one who likes to make it seem like our woes far outweigh or are any worse than any others woes are, because never do or am I, I am grateful for every breath I get and all that this life has to offer and has thus far blessed me with and I know better than most just how quickly things can change or could always be much worse in any given situation, calamity or in our case, MAJOR DISASTER and state of emergency. We closed our place to the public so that we could get the physical damages and debris and down trees and hazards taken care of and cleaned up before reopening, and the few whom did help in the biggest ways, you know who you are, we are eternally grateful and thankful for all you've done in those efforts to help us restore what was able to be restored at the time. However, prior to and since then, hasn't stopped nor deterred people from coming here or taking heed to our online updates about the course closure, you build it and they will come they say, well no matter what even after a disaster and have had to close down. So, as people continued going against taking heed to our requests & wishes they kept pouring in day after day, week after week and now month after month, we at first were only making exceptions to our regulars whom are the ones who did help in our restorations , we were turning all the other people away, but have since come to quickly realize that our words and wishes are not good enough and have fallen on deaf ears. we felt & feel horrible for you all and ourselves for doing so. We've now just given up and have just allowed people to keep pouring in, even with out full restoration and especially still since not having any water. its hard and difficult enough to provide a service and give back to our friends ,family and community & with the high demand and love that everyone has for our home and place 24-7 365, let alone without a key essential and now crucial item & survival necessity - WATER!!!!!!!!

Bless us for our steadfastness & longsuffering and God Bless chucks entire existence and endless efforts to provide for his family and our community, its driven him to his absolute wit's end and damn near bat shit crazy more times than i can count, we are all so tired, stressed, mentally anguished and disappointed in ourselves, our government and the state of Florida, we've only been in a state of emergency for what, over 2 entire years now, wtf Florida??? I have almost given up my faith in our government. God help us!!!! we cant do this without you lord!

FURTHERMORE, WE CANT DO THIS WITHOUT THE HELP FROM ALL OF YOU WHOM ARE ABLE TO!!!

ITS URGENT AND IMPERITIVE TO OUR SURVIVAL!!!

This amount i have placed on this gofundme isn't even close to nor does it even begin to scratch the surface of what it is actually going to cost to have our well replaced but, its a good starting point!

If anyone wants or needs to see the estimate from the professional licensed and insured well contractor to confirm that this is real, or any n all documentation in my efforts thus far with FEMA that i have , I have no issues or problem in doing so. every little bit will help, every penny and every drop of water counts, and all or any cares n considerations are more than appreciated.

All monies collected will be spent on and to begin this huge process of having a new well drilled and in place, or as far as we are able to go with what all is ultimately donated to help us in these efforts until my case worker Mr. James Grenelle has answers and the disaster relief funds available to finish the job.

Its a really hard circumstance to swallow when your blessed enough to have the honor n privilege to be able to give back to your community in the way in which we have and still do, but when the coin is flipped and tables turn and you need and have to rely on your community to help you because you are unable to do so but yet continue to give back to the community in the ways in which we are still doing merely n solely out of the kindness and humility that pours from our hearts, we pray that you can find it in your hearts to kindly pay it forward in any ways that your able to....
