Mom's wish

Hi my name is Tiffany I'm the oldest of 3 (Stephanie and Melissa) and we are fundaising for our mother. Her name is Janice Waters and her battle with cancer started over 4 years ago. She went in for some unusual stomach pains and was sent to an oncologist to find out 4 days later that she was in stage 4 ovarian cancer. They decided to do a full hysterectomy then chemo. After the 1st round Her platlits and white blood cell count was always either low or high. So then they began more test and found out she had cancer in her stomach lining and intestines. So she began her 1st round of the red devil broke her down. She began to lose weight and her hair. I'll never forget the day I shaved her head the 1st time It was the hardest thing I've ever done at that time. When I was done I turned around so she could see herself in the mirror and as she fought back tears all I could see was this beautiful strong faithful Godly woman in the reflection. This was just the beginning of her long Journey with this devil called cancer But her faith in God has always shined through. She has 3 rounds of the red devil and Several rounds of maintenance chemo. Over these last 4 years it has Took a toll on all of her organs and her whole body. She has had a drain to remove fluid off her stomach everyday every day for the last 2 years. She has had a tube in her back to remove the fluid off her lungs lungs for the last 10 months. They have done 3 surgeries to try to save her kidney, they all have failed.. And this week when they tried to put the stint in the kidney they found out the kidney was dead and had to stop the surgery because she could not live through removal of her kidney. A week prior to the kidney surgery she went in the hospital to have the tube removed from her lung and her lung inflated. When the doctors opened her up they seen mass they they immediately biopsied and it came back as cancer and her fluid and her lungs turns gelatinous And ended up putting a bigger tube in her back because the fluid would not come out they had to remove it by hand. In 14 days my mom has completely deteriorated and since then she Signed A DNR.. The cancer in her lungs has been growing Rapidly and they said there is nothing else they can do. So now she is an end of life comfort care. Her poor little body is covered from head to toe and bruises With tubes and machines just hooked up to everything. And as hard as this time is we had to talk about what her final wishes were. she is our pillar of the family and all she wants is to have a beautiful funeral and be Buried Close to her dad and brother. And anyone that knows our mother knows that she is a faithful servant of the Lord. Her Doctor even said she is a true Testament of the Lord. her Doctor only gave her 12 months and she has been Here over 4 years Fighting this battle and praiseing Jesus the whole time. She would have chemo in the morning and then drive the church bus in the evening. She would be tired and weak and still be right there if any of her family needed her. And until 2 weeks ago even after fighting this battle all this time she still would be right there if someone needed her or to spread the word of God. Her faithfulness did not go unnoticed when I tell you God is good God is good all the time.. There is one spot available by her dad and brother it is exactly 1 space up-and-over 40" from the head of her dad. My mother and my sister (Stephanie) are both members of wonderful churches that are going to give her an amazing funeral service and we found a wonderful Christian funeral home That will respect all of her wishes and they gave us a discount. w

We have faith that through God's work and God willing we will be able to raise and earn the money to give my mother the funeral that she deserves and the place to lay her body where she wants because her soul and spirit will be with Jesus.

The hardest thing for for children to do it do is plan a funeral Of their parent that's still here and then to try to come up with the funds to give her everything she deserves. So we ask you if you are able and willing We will appreciate any donations To help us fulfill our mother's last wish.
