Mom & Daughter Fighting Cancer

Donation protected
In January 2017 our small family received devastating news. My 35-year-old sister was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme. For anyone that doesn’t know, this is one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer, which unfortunately has no cure. Within a week of receiving this news my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. My mother has been running a small dog grooming business (Sue’s Canine Designs) in her home in the Chilliwack area since our father passed in 1996. Due to my sister’s symptoms with her cancer she is no longer able to work or drive and has moved back into my mother's home. We are reaching out to our friends and the community for your help. My mother and sister both are requiring daily treatments at the BC Cancer Agency and because of this, my mother is also unable to keep up with her business and has needed to send clients elsewhere. Not only has these life-changing circumstances been traumatic to deal with it has been and continues to be an overwhelming financial burden on our family. We thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

In hopes of not closing the business entirely, if there are any certified dog groomers in the Chilliwack area looking to work in an established dog grooming business please message us.
