Michael O'Brien is one of the most, if not the most genuine and caring men I know. Always willing to help out, listen, and give the best advice possible. Today he is mourning the loss of his eldest furbaby Smokey. Just like people our fur family gets sick and unexpected tragedies happen. This is one of those cases.
Smokey was being cared for at Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital as he went into kidney failure, and unfortunatly was unable to recover. He took Smokey home to have him euthanized there. Home is where Smokey needed to be to spend his final hours with his family.
10 years ago, Mike took Smokey in when he was a weak stray kitten. He set him up with food and a little box. When he went pee, it "smoked" like something out of the Addams Family. Smokey was Mikes Bestfriend. They talked about every house they lived in, About how Mincemeat and Punkin taught him how to do stuff. He was a great companion, and the very best at listening. They would play with his favorite toys.
He is currently resting in peace now near Mikes home, where he will be living in kitty heaven eating fresh fish, and drinking from the purest of waterfalls.
Please considering making a donation to help with the unexpected medical expenses that occur during times like this.
Anything is appreciated.
