I'm David Wheeler and angry that Sibelco has pulled the rug out from under these loyal workers. Let's rally behind them and raise some funds for their family's essentials needs.

This fund was created to provide direct financial support to Mitchell County workers impacted by recent layoffs , many of whom are still recovering from Hurricane Helene.

Every penny raised will go directly to affected workers and their families.

No administrative fees. No political use. No overhead.

To ensure fairness and transparency, a small committee made up of impacted workers and trusted community leaders will oversee how funds are distributed, prioritizing immediate needs such as housing, utilities, food, and transportation.

This is neighbors helping neighbors — stepping up when others didn’t.
