Mike VanSickle Medical Fund

On June 13, 2015 Mike suffered a traumatic brain injury.  He was walking out of a Subway Restaurant when he blacked out during a seizure.  After waking up on the ground, he was taken to the nearest ER where  an epidural hematoma was discovered.  He was then rushed to the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City and immediately went into surgery.  He spent the next 33 days there before being transferred to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincon,  Nebraska. 

Fast forward to April 2017, Mike can go home but Pam and Bud need some help.  If they can get the proper equipment at home, they can help Mike sit up and maybe even stand.   The more Mike can move when he gets home, the easier it will be for him to get dressed when he gets home. 

Along with the proper medical equipment there are needs for alterations to the house, a home generator system and on going medical costs.
