Mikayla Ferer Memorial Scholarship

Mikayla Ferer was a beautiful, vibrant, energetic young woman who was taken from this earth on the early morning of February 13th. Mikayla cherished her friends and family, and was passionate about health, wellness, mother earth and giving to those around her.
In honor of Mikayla, the Clarkston High School LEAD Program has created the Mikayla Ferer Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is $1500 and embodies all that Mik stood for. Along with the LEAD Program, five teachers have come together to run the Gazelle Girl 5K, 10K or Half Marathon in honor of Mikayla. This is where Team Mik was born. We are looking to help raise more money to match the original $1500, so that we can give more than one scholarship in Mikayla's name. Beyond that, we want to honor Mikayla's Legacy and her passion for nutrition, environment, and people, by giving other kids the opportunity to study many of the things that Mikayla loved.
