Mikayla Mountford

Hi, my name is Laura Mountford. Mikayla Griffin, beloved sister, mom, wife and daughter was recently diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer. She will be meeting with the doctor again next week to talk about next steps, but they have told her she will likely need chemo to shrink the tumor and then have a piece of her lung removed to hopefully get rid of the cancer.

Due to some recent job transitions they are currently in between insurance providers, so the costs of all the testing and procedures she has already had are quickly adding up, and we know there will be many more moving forward. Her pulmonologist stressed to her in a conversation before she left the hospital that without medical insurance the needed interventions, even just the chemotherapy, would likely be impossible to pay for without assistance.

We are so thankful she has so many around her who love and support her, but any additional support we can offer her and her family would be appreciated more than we can say!
