This gofundme is to help support Michelle and her two daughters, Eden and Lydia, all living with multiple chronic illnesses and syndromes indluding: MS, EDS, POTS, MCAD, FSGS, gastroparesis, glaucoma, PTSD, chiari malformation, and more. As a result of these debilitating, painful conditions, all three members of this family are unable to work. In order for this wonderful family to have a quality of life and to access life improving medications and care, we are starting this fundraiser.
Here is a short paragraph from Michelle (Amazing mother and friend):
“As most of you know we’ve recently moved, again, this was move 33 and hopefully last for a very very long time. this move needs are unique. This dream home has turned into a living, breathing nightmare. We are dealing with intense chemical exposure, stalking, trespassing and harassment from one neighbor. All of this has affected our health, and we no longer feel safe in our new home. The girls and I are daily having PTSD triggers and panic attacks from abusive past. It was already hard enough to feel safe as a disabled single mom protecting her two disabled kids, now I rarely sleep due to noises. I’m in fear of anaphylactic reactions from our neighbors cigarette smoke, and every time one of us goes outside for chores or other needs, we risk our health and we risk harassment. Needless to say, I need help. I can’t handle all this on my own.”
The Money raised and donated will go to:
-Building much needed fencing to give this family privacy from this difficult neighbor and keep their service dogs safe from her attempts to distract and harass both the dogs and family. These dogs need “time off” to run and play, and this family deserves to enjoy their backyard.
-Essential Medications, masks, and holistic treatments for the entire family from second hand smoke and other severe chemicals that cause Michelle to black out and risk injuring her already fragile body.
-Michelle’s medical alert Service Dog died from a trauma last month. It was extremely unexpected to train a new service puppy this summer. Costs for neutering, shots, and puppy classes would help greatly while this service dog is trained to provide life saving alerts and medical assistance.
-Medical bills, utility bills, and basic needs such as food, gas and electrolytes for POTS as Michelle recently lost alimony.
