Michael was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 esophageal cancer. Due to Mike's youth and overall good health (and he says his universal charm), the doctors are creating an aggressive therapy plan of radiation and chemotherapy that starts this week. Mike will receive both radiation and chemotherapy weekly for the next 6 weeks, with the goal of shrinking the D-size battery tumor to a size that can be removed through surgery.

We're raising money to help Michael cover lost wages for days he is too sick to work, to fund rides to and from treatments, to help with his insurance deductible and co-pays, and any other incidental expenses that arise as he is treated.
