Michael Guiles Memorial Service

On the morning of February 14, 2020. Michael Guiles passed away unexpectedly in his home in Maryland. He is survived by his Wife Stephanie, and their two sons Joshua & Nicholas. 

Michael was a father, brother, husband, leader, mentor, and a friend to all. He always seeked adventure and always thought of others before himself.

Michael joined the Marine Corps in 1985 until his medical discharge in 2001. He served in many roles and ranks within his 15 years of active service and never stopped fighting to get back since being out. He loved his time with 2nd Bn 9th Marines and took pride in being part of Operation Restore Hope. He always talked about his time with “Charlie 1/5” he had astory about everyone and everything he did while being a Marine.

After leaving the Marine Corps Michael became a go getter and leader by becoming the Commanding Officer for the Young Marine Organization. Teaching kids how to lead, teach, respect, commitment, and self-discipline.  He mentored and had a great impact on many young people. Michael instilled his example of Leadership and Love for others.
 
Michael had a loving and eventful life, living everyday to the fullest. He will be sorely missed but Never Forgotten.
