On July 9, 2019, Kress Meredith was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic rectal cancer. In the weeks leading up to this diagnosis, Kress’s health had slowly been deteriorating, until he was finally admitted to Emory Hospital on June 6th due to the immense pain he was in. The doctors discovered that Kress had several tumors in vital organs, and lesions on his spine. The oncologist performed a biopsy, which resulted in the unfortunate diagnosis. Through all of this, Kress’s loving wife, Brenda, would not leave his side.
After the initial results, the specialists proceeded to lay out a plan for treatment, which means Kress has a fighting chance. We all have faith in both God’s grace, and the strength, love, and support of the Meredith family to speed Kress’s recovery.
About the Family
Kress Meredith was born on May 2, 1966. He’s a stubborn, loud, and absolutely lovable man, and anyone who meets him can’t help but love him. He married Brenda in 1998, and they have 6 children. The couple has fought the odds and been through many rough times, but they went through it together and came out stronger. Brenda’s spitfire attitude and devotion to Kress will insure that he receives the best care that he can get during this difficult and trying time.
