Our good friend Santi has recently gone through an unfortunate incident going into his second year of pharmacy school. Coming to this country at the age of 3, Santi worked hard to overcome numerous obstacles, and has been able to maintain a 4.0 while in pharmacy school. Furthermore, he is currently doing research under various pharmacy professors and is actively involved in numerous on campus organizations. Unfortunately, he is not eligible for federal loans despite his 20 years in Georgia. Recently, his private loan sponsor was denied, and now Santi is in a bind in regards to his tuition payment. Without much financial assistance, we need to work together to help him get through this ordeal.  I know we are all tight on money, but any donations would be greatly appreciated. We want to help generate enough money to cover tuition costs for the year. One can only imagine how he must be feeling; especially considering the time and effort he has put forth to put himself in a position for success for the future. All it takes is a few dollars to realize a dream, and being students, we can all relate to the feeling of losing that dream. Thus, as future pharmacists, friends, and family, we need to do our best to help Santi see this through.
