Menstrual Care Kits for Women and Girls in Gaza

On our way!! #Sisters4Gaza successfully sent 8000 menstrual care kits to women and girls in Gaza through the PRCS! We are continuing our efforts here on the same campaign for transparency.

Together we raised $41,000 on GoFundME and our campaign team contributed $2,000 so we can reach the 8000 kits, but the need is bigger.

Palestinians in Gaza are enduring a heart-wrenching genocide. With thousands of families displaced and facing severe shortages of necessities, including menstrual hygiene products. Among the displaced are +700,000 women and girls who, despite losing everything, still confront the monthly challenges of their periods without access to essential items.

#Sisters4Gaza is an initiative by a small group of Palestinian women in the US & Ramallah, the West Bank, Palestine, determined to make a difference.

100% of donations go to the kits. This campaign is to offer a moral modicum of decency during these difficult times.

Our goal: To provide Period Kits of period pads & undergarments to displaced women and girls in Gaza.

How will the kits reach Gaza?

We've partnered with the Palestinian Red Crescent in Ramallah, Palestine, to handle the distribution. The team member purchases the items, assembles the kits, & delivers them to the PRCS HQ, where they'll be added to their next shipment & delivered through their reliable aid trucks and processes.

We've been able to send pads to Gaza 4 times in the past 3 months.

Why Pads?

Given the challenging circumstances, we've chosen period pads as the primary focus of our campaign. While sustainable period solutions like reusable pads or underwear are excellent, they require access to clean water for washing – a luxury these women can't afford. We aim to prioritize the health and well-being of these women by providing an immediate practical and essential solution of a basic Period Kit.
