Medical Expenses for Sean Campbell

Donation protected
On Saturday, May 14th, Sean, and Amanda Campbell were travelling westbound on I-94 after visiting Amanda’s parents downriver and riding their new motorcycle with side car. This was a bucket list item for Sean, and as an experienced driver, he and Amanda were excited for the many adventures that would take place. They were in a terrible accident near Ypsilanti where they veered off. Amanda was buckled into the sidecar with her helmet on, and upon impact was trapped under the wreckage. Bystanders of the accident lifted the sidecar as her head was pinned. Miraculously she was left with minor injuries. Sean, on the other hand was not so lucky. He is alive, but in critical condition. He has extensive fractures including, his left radius and ulna, right wrist, multiple rib fractures, both lungs punctured, his clavicle broken and pierced the skin, his right shoulder, his pelvis, multiple spinal fractures from his thoracic to lumbar region, temporal lobe fracture, and contusions to his kidneys and heart. He was wearing his helmet, that was cracked upon impact. He is heavily sedated and on a ventilator. Hopefully today will be the start of the numerous surgeries that he will needed for reconstruction.
Sean and Amanda met in 1998, when Amanda was a freshman in college, and have been going strong ever since. They have been together for 24 years. Sean is a family man to his core, are they are so supportive of their three children, Veronica, Andon, and Jack. They moved from Gibraltar roughly 5 years ago and live in the Grand Haven area. Sean works for Consumers, and Amanda is a teacher. They also have a business called Campbell’s Soap, where Amanda makes artisan soaps, and pottery that she sells in local shops along Lake Michigan’s coastline. She has not left his side, and has camped in his ICU room, wanting to be the first person that he sees when he can open his eyes.
Sean’s father, sister, and brother all live out of state and will be travelling quite a bit soon. Corey and Sean have been best friends since grade school, and I have been friends with Sean since Jr. High always having our lockers next to each other (Campbell and Cancilliari). Sean will be needing extensive and multiple surgeries, with therapies that will no doubt be extremely expensive. Sean will be facing a treacherous and long uphill battle. I have organized this go fund me to help with some of the financial burden that will undoubtedly be needed.
Please give if you can, and please keep the Campbell family in your prayers. We will be needing all the help that we can get.
