Medical Expenses for Dave and Brooke Pearson

Our beloved Dave Pearson, haz-mat firefighter, husband, father of four, fisherman and overall badass, is very sick.  He was checked in to Providence Medical Center on February 2nd for multiple infections which have progressed to bronchitis, pneumonia and bacterial meningitis.  We are waiting and praying for him to wake up.

Providence is providing their best care and giving Dave everything he needs to fight.  He is currently in a coma and on a ventilator, constantly surrounded by family members, friends, parishioner and fire fighters.  The outcome is unknown and we can only support Dave to give him his best fighting chance.


I am asking for support to help cover Brooke's medical expenses.  Lodging in critical care is very costly and I am hoping to relieve some of Brooke's financial stress in this difficult time.  Dave needs as much time as possible to have the best chances and we don't want his medical care to be limited by financial barriers.

Brooke is inspiring us all with her absolutely remarkable strength by holding herself and her four children up.  I am hoping that this fundraiser will give her one less thing to worry about.  The stress our family is dealing with at this time is a lot, but we are able to find strength in each other and in God.

We have been overwhelmed by everyone's support, from the prayers to the two-month long meal train.  Our family is fighting for Dave just like we know he is fighting for us, and we appreciate everything that's been done to help us get through this so far.

Dave is young, fit and a fighter.  We know if there is anyone who is strong enough to beat this, it is him, and that gives us hope.
