We are medical students at the University of Dundee with a passion to make a difference for under-resourced hospitals around the world.

Through our student society, MedAid Dundee, we work in partnership with MedAid UK to give unused but fully functional medical equipment a second life. Instead of going to waste, this equipment is collected and sent to hospitals overseas where it can be the difference between life and death.

The challenge we face is the cost of shipping. Without funding, vital equipment risks staying in storage instead of reaching the doctors and nurses who need it most.

Our goal is to raise £10,000 to cover these shipping and logistics costs. Every donation, big or small, directly helps ensure lifesaving supplies are delivered into the hands of healthcare workers caring for patients in desperate need. Part of the funds raised will also go towards supporting MedAid Dundee as a student-led society by helping us run events, raise awareness, and spread the word so that even more equipment can be collected and lives can be saved.

We believe no piece of medical equipment should go to waste and no patient should go without care. With your support we can turn that belief into reality.
