Meals And Comfort Support For Portland Police

Our special group of police wives and retired officers called "Blue Plate Special Comfort Group " provides home cooked meals for our Portland police and federal officers stationed here protecting our city of Portland,  Oregon.  Our heros have been out each night protecting our streets against the rioting and chaos. They have been both verbally and physically abused in an unprecedented and relentless attack on police.  For the last 2 months they have endured this abuse.  I am personally a Portland native for the last 53 years...I have always been proud of our men in blue. They are some of the country's finest. We provide comfort and support...delivering food to precincts and even to the homes of injured officers.   We also serve and care for our federal officers stationed in Portland who are away from their precious families.  These officers are living out of hotel rooms and are working long hours many without a day off. Our food is prepared with love and we provide a friendly smile and often a shoulder to lean on. We also work with our community making items and donating them to our heros to help ease their long shifts like cooling scarves and other items that makes things a little easier.  As mentioned earlier , the majority of us are officer wives and we have husbands on the streets getting this abuse... This has been great therapy for us as well coming together and being proactive with our energy. Donations will go towards food and supplies and any other type of act that will provide comfort and support.  Any leftover donations will be used for police officer and/or spouse  counseling and support. Our officers have dedicated their lives protecting this beautiful city...please help us take care of them.
