Detraibile fiscalmente
A few months ago Marion Cross School started providing free lunch to all students as part of a federal response to the economic crisis created by the COVID pandemic.
We applaud the school district for doing everything it can to assist families in need, and we feel very fortunate that our family has not suffered economically during the pandemic, as so many millions of families across the country have over the last year.
So, we’d like to “pay” for our child's lunches in a different way: by raising money for The Upper Valley Haven. As you can imagine, demand for its food shelf and cafe-prepared meals has increased drastically, and it could use our help.
We’ve set a fundraising goal of $2,280, which is the average monthly amount MCS families spent on school lunches prior to them being free. We’d like to ask for your help in giving the Haven a “month’s worth” of school lunches, so to speak.
We hope that you and your families are healthy and happy, and we thank you for your consideration.
