Dear Louisville Community, Family and Friends,
The western part of our state is suffering from catastrophic damage caused by a recent tornado. The news accounts and pictures show mass destruction and devastation.
Thus far, donations and volunteer efforts have been a tremendous success. Running Ox Logistics coupled with Haney and White Enterprise wants to advance and accelerate these efforts.
While the clean-up and rebuild will take time, we can make an immediate impact by contributing now.
First, Running Ox Logistics and Haney and White Enterprises will match up to $10,000 raised by this Saturday December 18 at 9:00am CST. This contribution will be distributed to the following relief efforts:
• The Candle Factory Employee Relief Fund, helping those specific employees and their families to get back on their feet;
• The Mayfield-Graves County Tornado Relief Fund providing direct-assistance to citizens who request financial aid; and
• The Independence Bank Storm Relief Fund.
Next, Running Ox Logistics and Haney and White Enterprises will utilize their networks to charter truckloads of non-perishable goods to the Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds. We will donate truck drivers and 53’ dry-van trailers to transport the goods.
The Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds has volunteers standing by to distribute the non-perishable items to families in need. We are working with the Holy Trinity Parish to determine drop off locations and times to donate nonperishable goods. Please see the list below of items suggested for donation:
• New Christmas Toys or Used Toys Good Condition
• Personal Care Products (soap, toothpaste, sanitizer, shampoo, and feminine hygiene products)
• Cleaning Supplies (detergent, toilet paper, and paper towels)
• Work Boots and Gloves
• Baby Products (diapers and wipes)
• First Aid Items (bandages, gauze, tape, antiseptic and gloves)
• School Snacks and Non-Perishable Food Items
Please be sure these items are packaged tightly and secured as much as possible. We want to avoid items being loose during transit. If you have palletized items, please call Reiss Bright [phone redacted] to schedule delivery.
Stay tuned for further updates regarding drop-off locations and times for donated items.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Reiss Bright at [phone redacted]. Your prayers, faith and good works are appreciated.
Thank you!
Reiss Bright, Nate Haney & Mike White
