Max needs help with TPLO surgery!

Hi friends! This is Max. His previous owner had left him tied up outside a vet office. Tulare animal services picked him up and asked A Girl's Best Friend Rescue to take him in. Max is a super sweet, gentle, affectionate, playful little man. After being with us for a few weeks, we noticed that he has a limp in his rear right leg. He went to our vet for xrays and it turns out he needs TPLO and Luxating Patella surgery. We think his previous owners dumped him outside the vet after finding out he needs surgery.

His previous owners has failed him but we are dedicated to getting Max his surgeries. We need your help to get Max to run again! His favorite thing to do is to play fetch and we can't wait to see him running around playing fetch again. Right now, Max is on painkillers and very minimal exercise/limited movement. Max is a young and healthy dog, he does not deserve to live the rest of his life with a limp. Max is currently in a loving foster-to-adopt home and has a cat-sibling.

As most of you know, this is an expensive surgery. We have called everywhere and the most reasonable quote we got is $6100 for both surgeries (TPLO and Luxating Patella) at Warm Spring Hospital in Fremont. We know times are tough right now but anything helps.

We have a month to reach this goal. Max's surgery is scheduled to be on 8/30. If we can not reach the goal then sadly Max can not have this surgery. So please help us to help Max run again!
