Maura needs your Support

Whether close to home for friends and family or on a global scale, as a traveling nurse volunteer helping children in Romania, Equador or hurricane Katrina disaster victims in New Orleans, our moms impact of generosity and selflessness are felt far and wide. Her commitment to promote human values, compassion, dignity, tolerance and love have always been beacons of her kind spirit and love for her fellow human being. On Saturday October 29th our mom suffered a major MCI stroke. After undergoing emergency brain surgery, and spending four days in the ICU at at Riverbend medical center we are happy to share the news that Mom is healing and showing tremendous strength and courage as she begins the path to recovery. Please send your prayers and healing energy her way and if you are able to show support in other ways as well, this go fund me is created specifically for a new adaptive tablet and other accessibility and mobility technology to support Maura as she builds strength of body and mind . She cherishes being able to keep in contact with friends and family far and wide and new tablet and other modern assistive technologies will allow her that invaluable link to her friends, family and community.
