This gofundme campaign was started by friends and family of Matthew Douglas who suddenly went to be with the Lord on 8/16/16. 

Matt was a veteran, son, brother, caregiver and loving friend.  He was also the father of 4 beautiful kids and 1 sweet stepson.  Matt  had a heart of gold and would do just about anything for anyone at anytime, or for any reason. He had a passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing and of course his beloved Pittsburg Steelers! Matt's sudden death leaves Brittany and his family scrambling to arrange funeral services among other things.

Matt lost his battle against PTSD.  Let's turn Matt's tragic passing into a lesson that could save another vet's life.  Everyday 22+ vets take their life due to PTSD.   "Let's end the stigma surrounding PTSD.  Let's end the silence.  Let's save our veterans." (Mission 22)
