Matthew Rousseau Scholarship

On June 9th, 2020 we lost our 16 year old baby boy to a horrific car accident. We are devastated and heartbroken that he is gone. Not a minute goes by that we don’t think of him. He was a handsome, smart, funny kid that enjoyed spending time with his family as well as his great group of friends. He loved making people laugh and had a passion for basketball. It is hard to believe he will not be captain of the basketball team this year, won’t graduate with his classmates, experience prom, college and travel the world as he often said he would do. He will forever be missed.

Matthew had a big heart and was always first to step up to help someone in need. We know that he would love to continue to help kids accomplish their dreams. A scholarship fund has been set up in Matthew Rousseau’s name and will be managed by the Litchfield High School Association. Please help us keep his memory alive.
