In October/2025, we experienced the shock of knowing that our mother needed more tests that quickly went from routine to in-depth examinations, biopsy extractions and were very painful physically; which gave Us a lot of anguish and uncertainty. After a very long wait (months) the results sadly came back positive for cancerous cells in my Mom' s left breast, exactly what we had been fearing. When she found out, she nearly took it just like she is, a warrior, and told us: "EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK, IT' S ALRIGHT" . But amidst the shock, nervousness, fear, worrisome and pain, we needed to show her indeed that it was as she herself said: "Everything is going to be alright" . Task that' s beyond difficult when we know the kind of mother we have. My Mother, Mrs. Ruth Suriel, 76 years old, mother of 4 kids and single since my parent' s divorce, raised us like many women in our culture through sheer effort and long hours of work, absent yet present with help from neighbors and relatives who would "keep an eye on us" while she worked tirelessly to be able to put food on the table and get average education; nothing extra just the basics; and that' s how she raised Us.

A hard-working woman, full of responsibilities and mostly busy, but also full of values and so much love to give. Cheerful, responsible, very social, energetic, affectionate, loyal, strong will/character woman, sharing with others continues to be a source of pleasure that brings Her satisfaction to this day.

My Mother needs emergency surgery to remove this cancer that decided to appear out of nowhere, for which we were unprepared, and it is very difficult as a daughter to be unable to meet that need when her health is severely affected. That is why we had to use this handy tool to be able to take her to the operating room and try to restore her health.

God willing and may Him keep her healthy!!!

Your help will allow my mother to return home cancer-free and be reunited with all her loved ones (family, friends, neighbors, church members and others). Our faith is placed in God our Lord, who strengthens Us each day, expecting this will be just a thing of the past and that my mother will emerge victorious from her surgery, ready to brighten our lives with her precious smile as only she knows how.

We know that it does not end with surgery because more challenges will follow with the required post-surgery treatments related to this invasive disease that arrives without permission, unannounced; but she will undoubtedly do what she does best: prevail, stand tall, fight against adversity, shake off the sand (problems). Sadness is not part of her being/soul. She is like the phoenix (rising from ashes) in bone and flesh, because she never had time to stop for these petty things when she had to do Her job as a single mother and raise us, her 4 children. That was the only thing in her mind all along, her motive to get up every day....

Your help matters and is greatly appreciated, Please, let' s help Ruth win this new battle against cancer because the World isn't ready to say good-bye to her..... This time around she can't do it alone like once before, we need You!!! She needs You!!! Thanks a lot!!!

Hola! me llamo Francina Ginette Conde Suriel y en nombre de mis tres (3) hermanos; Francheska, Frangellys y Francisco Emilio les quiero compartir lo que nos trajo la vida el mes de octubre 2025, donde recibimos la inesperada noticia de que nuestra Madre se encontraba en la necesidad de recurrir a ciertos estudios que rápidamente dejaron de ser de rutina; éstos que nos han impactado con mucha angustia e incertidumbre por ser invasivos y a su vez muy dolorosos.

Luego de una larga espera (meses) los resultados retornaron tristemente positivos para células cancerígenas en la mama izquierda de mi Madre, exactamente lo que veníamos temiendo.

Mi madre al enterarse lo tomó como una guerrera que es y nos dijo: "TODO VA A ESTAR BIEN, NO PASA NADA ". Pero dentro del nerviosismo, temor, preocupación y dolor, necesitábamos demostrarle a Ella que Sí, que era como ella misma dijo: "Todo va a estar bien

".

Mami, Ruth Suriel de 76 años, madre de 4 hijos, nos subió y crió como muchas madres en nuestra cultura, a puro esfuerzo con muchas horas de trabajo, ausente pero a la vez presente, para poder sustentar el alimento y darnos educación; nada lujoso, solo lo básico, pero rebozada de Paciencia y mucho Amor.

Siendo trabajadora, llena de responsabilidades y ocupada mayormente del tiempo pero a la vez llena de valores que la describen como la Mejor Abuelita, un mujer jovial, risueña, contagiosa, cariñosa, leal, mujer de temple, de quienes las conocen saben reconocer y disfrutar de su presencia.

Mi Madre necesita cirugía de emergencia para extirpar este cancer que decidió aparecer de la nada, y de la cual no estábamos preparados y no dejando de ser lo difícil como hijo/a el no poder cubrir esa necesidad cuando su salud es severamente afectada. Es por esto que, tuvimos que recurrir a esta herramienta para poder llevarla al quirófano y tratar de restaurarle su salud de vuelta, Dios haga su Voluntad y la cubra en salud, AMÉN !!!

Tu ayuda, nos ayudará a que mi madre pueda volver a casa sin cáncer de mama y volver a compartir con todos sus allegados nuevamente (familiares, amigos, vecinos, hermanos de Iglesia y demás) y ser nuestro lugar seguro, como siempre.

Tenemos puesta nuestra Fe en Dios Padre que nos fortalece cada día que pasa de que esto sera solo un susto nada más y que ella saldrá victoriosa de su cirugía a brindarnos e iluminarnos con su sonrisa como solo ella sabe hacer. Sabemos que solo con la cirugía no es suficiente porque luego vendrán mas obstáculos/retos con los tratamientos post-operatorios requeridos y relacionados a esta enfermedad que llega sin avisar pero Ella nuevamente sin duda hará lo que Ella sabe hacer MEJOR: Prevalecer, quedarse de pie, pelear ante adversidades, sacudirse la arena, y demostrar una vez más que la tristeza no es parte de su ser/Alma, Ella es el ave fénix en carne y hueso, porque nunca tuvo tiempo para detenerse cuando tenia que realizar su trabajo de madre soltera y subirnos a nosotros, sus 4 hijos. Eso era lo único importante para Ella....

Vamos, ayudemos a RUTH a vencer esta nueva pelea contra el cáncer porque aún es no es momento para decirle un Adiós....

Esta vez Ella NO podrá sola como en las anteriores, necesitamos de ti!!!
