Masjid At-Taqwa(SHEFFIELD)
Allah says in the Quran: “Those who spend [in Allah’s Cause – deeds of charity, alms, etc.] in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers).” [sūrah āl-Im’rān 3:133]
Due to imposed lockdown by the UK government, as result of COVID-19 pandemic; Masjid At-Taqwa has temporarily closed its doors, to curb the spreading of the coronavirus.
However, as a direct result of the closure—the Masjid finds itself at a disadvantage due to the fact that we rely heavily on general donations and tuition to generate the funding necessary to operate and pay necessary bills.
The Masjid, hopes to continue to provide essential services to the community during this pandemic. The services we currently provide and will continue to provide include…..
· Online weekly Islamic lessons.
· Masjid funeral services.
· Online daily reminders by masjids Imam.
· Online Weekly Tasfir classes.
· Support Helpline for the wider community.
In order to provide these services and for the masjid to be able to pay for bills during this difficult times, we heavily need your support.
Any donation, of any size, is greatly appreciated! May Allah reward you and bless you in this life and the hereafter.
As reported by Abu Hurairah (r.a.) Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: “Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim Vol. 4, Hadith.
